Chapel of the Holy Cross & St Alban

The little church with a long name! The Chapel of the Holy Cross & St Alban, Brickendon, was built in 1932 on land donated by Minnie Kingsley and with funds given by Mrs Kingsley and her daughter Constance Demain Saunders. Named after the Holy Cross of Waltham, with which Brickendon has historic links, and the patron saint of the diocese, the chapel is in the Church of England parish of Bayford, part of the Hartford Hundred West group of churches.

Services are usually held at Brickendon on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month as follows. Services are normally held at St Mary, Bayford on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.

3rd Sunday - 9.30am Parish Communion BCP
